While working in the sim yesterday, I noticed a new visitor – of the furry kind. I know that some people in SL dislike Furries, some even manage to hate them, but I really don’t understand why. Fact is that they look different, often are deeply immersed into their furry life and tend to stick together but based on my chat with Skunky, they are not a bit stranger then you and I are.
Skunky was happy to pose for a photograph while she sat down near a palm tree and took in her surroundings.
“I kind of like the place here – I’ve always been a sucker for sun and the tropics. The fact that there are no other Furries around is both a bless and a curse I believe. I like being amongst my own, but sometimes they get a bit much… Settling down in a non-Furry environment may be interesting for everyone at first, but are we really that different? I doubt it.“
So… who knows, we may have a Furry resident in the future! I for one would be looking forward to it, as the SoulManager sim is open for ALL residents in SL, and if all our Furry friends are as articulate and cute as Skunky, we’ll all have some good times!
